Prenatal Education
During your pregnancy, we will meet to discuss your birth plans and you’ll learn what to expect from early labor through to your baby's birth. We'll also try out all of the comfort measures & pain relief methods to find out what works for you! After our prenatal visits, you’ll feel prepared and confident going into your birth experience.
Labor & Birth Support
When you’re ready for doula support, I’ll join you at your home or chosen birth location and stay with you until you are comfortably resting after delivery. Comfort measures may include massage, acupressure, reflexology, rebozo support, heat and cold therapy, suggestions on positioning and movement, partner encouragement, and much more.
Postpartum Care
About a week after delivery, you’ll have a home visit to reflect on the birth experience and help with postpartum or newborn concerns. If you are struggling with breastfeeding, have newborn care questions, or just want to talk, I’ll be there to support you and be an unbiased ear. Although this is a brief 1-2 hour visit, I do offer additional postpartum support packages.
