Birth Doula Services in Guam
A doula is a certified professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to families during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. My role is to empower you by offering continuous support, personalized guidance, and encouragement throughout your birthing journey. Below, you’ll find a variety of support options designed to meet your unique needs and preferences. Explore the possibilities and discover how I can support you on this transformative journey!
Prenatal Education
During your pregnancy we will meet twice, first to discuss your birth plans and provide childbirth education as well as answer all of your questions. We’ll discuss everything from early labor contractions all the way through your birth experience up to your baby's arrival and postpartum recovery.
We'll also try out all of the comfort measures & pain relief methods I utilize to find what works best for you! If desired, I’ll also teach your partner all of my comfort measures to further support you. After our prenatal visits, I guarantee you’ll feel prepared and confident going into your birth experience.
Labor & Birth Support
When you’re ready for doula support, I’ll join you at your home or chosen birth location and stay with you until you are comfortably resting after delivery. I will be by your side until your baby arrives. There is no time limit for birth support.
Comfort measures may include massage, acupressure, rebozo support, heat and cold therapy, essential oils, suggestions on positioning and movement, laughter, music, partner encouragement, and much, much more!
Postpartum Care
About a week after delivery, you’ll have a home visit to reflect on the birth experience and help with postpartum or newborn concerns. If you are struggling with breastfeeding, have newborn care questions, or just want to talk, I’ll be there to support you and be an unbiased ear. Although this is a brief 1-2 hour visit, I offer additional postpartum support packages for extra care and hands-on help.

What Clients Are Saying
Lyndsay was amazing! I have no family in the area and knew I needed more support during the delivery than my husband could provide. Lyndsay filled that role perfectly. We met a couple of times and talked frequently about what I wanted during labor and delivery.
When I had no clue what laboring positions to try, Lyndsay was knowledgeable enough to suggest different options and was thoughtful enough to provide massaging tools, a birthing ball, and other things to help with pain management.
She understood that I wanted a natural delivery and helped in every way possible to make sure I got what I wanted. I couldn't imagine a better birthing experience, and I am extremely happy we chose Lyndsay to be our doula.
- Sarah R.
Lyndsay provided a very thorough service. I hired her for my third birth because I was looking for a better birth than I had before. I am happy to say my third birth with Lyndsay was my best birth, with no regrets!
I liked knowing that I could call and text her my whole pregnancy. She was there for me to call when I didn't know when/if I should leave for the hospital. She supported my labor by being a calm presence - candles, massage, brushing hair, encouraging words, giving me space when I needed it. I believe just having her present reminded me during my labor of what I was trying to achieve and how to do it.
- Josie B.
My husband and I had an excellent experience with Lyndsay. Throughout pregnancy she taught my husband and I so many techniques to achieve the natural labor we desired. Those techniques were priceless as I went into labor. Her presence during labor was comforting and intuitive. She stepped in when needed and allowed space for my husband to be my main helper (which is exactly what we asked for). Thank you, thank you Lyndsay for a beautiful experience.
