If you aren’t looking for a Doula but are seeking some hands on education and expert advice, these classes are for you! Each class lasts an hour long and is held in your chosen location, whether that’s Starbucks, virtually through Skype, or in your living room. I am available for classes in the Delmarva area. Discounts are available when booking multiple classes.
$70 - This personal meeting will ease your fears by educating you on your options for childbirth. Together, we create a document that will show your decisions regarding various options available to pregnant women. This is a great opportunity to discuss feelings that may arise as your birth approaches and get answers to your questions and concerns. This is different from a childbirth education class, it's time devoted to planning your upcoming birth.
If you decide to hire me as your Birth Doula, this planning session fee is applied towards your new balance.
$170 - Pregnancy and birth are physically demanding. Mental preparation and emotional support can go a long way towards helping you manage the intensity of your upcoming labor and birth. Ideally, you should take a childbirth class between weeks 20 and 36 of your pregnancy.
If you decide to hire me as your Birth Doula, this childbirth education fee is applied towards your new balance.
$170 - Most partners desire to be your main support person, and with this class I’ll teach them the tools and tricks of the trade to be the best birth coach for you. This class is best in combination with Birth Planning and/or Childbirth Education, as those meetings will help me personalize your partner’s class for your birth plan.
$170 - Grandparents are always thrilled to support you and help welcome your bundle of joy into the world! I will discuss all the sensitive issues with them, educate them on the birth process and what to expect, and help them learn how to best support you throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum recovery period. Whether they are attending the birth or not, I can help prepare them to help you in the best way for your family.
$70 - When you arrive home from the hospital, sometimes there are a lot of questions. From how to do baby’s first bath, to umbilical cord care, feeding and diapering, even how many dirty diapers to expect! I’ll answer all of your newborn care questions, offer information and resources, and help you create a postpartum plan that will ease your transition into parenthood. Together, we create a document that will be a reference for support during the early days, as well as help you achieve your goals as a new parent.
If you decide to hire me as your Postpartum Doula, this planning session fee is applied towards your new balance.
$100 - During your belly binding session, I will demonstrate the wrapping technique and teach you and your partner how to apply the wrap. This session can be held as early as 2-3 days postpartum after a vaginal birth or 1-2 weeks after a surgical birth, depending on your comfort level and healing. It is recommended that your binder be worn for a maximum of 6 hours per day for at least 2-4 weeks. The wrap is included in your fee!
